Mini-photo shoot in Longview

October 15, 2009 by jasonvh Leave a Comment

After a fun trail ride in Longview the other day, I pulled out the gear to get some shots of bike riding pal  Alex shredding this fun single slalom type trail.

Al’s yellow and red helmet combined with his custom painted bike really popped in the woodsy surroundings.

I was pretty happy on how these shots ended up. Especially since I only brought a tripod, so the second flash ended up being positioned on a stump. (camera right in the above photo) I enjoy shooting photos on the trails as well, but my Canon G10 point and shoot has a hard time in the dark sections of forest here in the northwest. Maybe its time to start lugging the SLR around with me everywhere again.
