I’m a lifestyle, product, and action sports photographer based in Portland, Oregon. I cut my teeth shooting cycling events, freelancing for cycling magazines, and spent several years shooting full time for Betabrand in San Francisco, a clothing company start-up I joined early on where I helped create content and photography to sell apparel.
I currently reside in Portland, Oregon, where I currently work full time in B2B Marketing. Moonlighting as a freelance photographer, I also operate a cycling blog, Bermstyle.com. I got my start studying painting and photography as an undergrad at the University of Oregon. Armed with a reliable and beat-up Pentax K-1000 film SLR, I spent a lot of time snapping photos of everything. I still always carry a camera, but these days I’m fully digital and enjoy shooting with a number of different camera bodies and systems. I primarily use Canon gear for assignments but have been enjoying the new compact Fuji systems for personal use on mountain biking adventures. My primary specialty for the last three years has been photography and creative direction as well as content development.
